I just want to put in the good word for Sonoma Spa-Salon for making a recent Saturday such a special and fun girls day with manicures and having our hair done.... The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, the women working there are kind and lovely and offer many wonderful pampering services (including healing sessions with me . :) Samantha Toland did my hair for the first time and she did a beautiful and professional job. She also took time with the girls, and made them feel so pretty making sure their hair was just so. 142 Willard St, Quincy, please stop in and see for yourself.

Brenda,
I just wanted to tell you how absolutely pleased I am. Taylor made sure my hair was PERFECT. I couldn’t be happier with my experience, your salon, or Taylor. She was fantastic. She was so nice and worked really hard to get everything even which I’m sure you saw was a difficult task with all the shades and colors I had. I will definitely be back when it’s time for a refresher (and the wedding). I love my hair. Can’t wait to show it off and tell everyone about your salon.
Thank you so much!

I bought a Groupon deal for a Brazilian here. I'm not sure what I was thinking as I've never had one before but though "I wonder what that's like". And off I went.
I went in August right before I was going away on vacation. I was greeted by Anne and brought to a private and clean room in the back.
I was pretty nervous about bare-ing all to someone but she actually made me feel very comfortable. I was shocked at how non embarrassing the whole thing really was.
After the initial 2-3 strips I thought "hey this isn't so bad". But after about 6, it was bad. Oh so bad. Now this is not a knock on Anne's skills but just a testimate to the process itself. just in case you were wondering. I did get the feeling from reading reviews of other places that she could have gone a tad faster but as this was my first experience, I wont judge. Plus she was so nice and made me feel so at ease that I would rather be comfortable and have it go slower.
Would I do it again? Oh hellz no.

My friend Stacey brought me here when I was visiting. We decided to treat ourselves and came in for a 1 hour massage. The masseuse was very attentive and asked me if the pressure was ok. She did not talk much which I liked because I don't like it when people talk to me. The place was clean and it was not overpriced. I was very impressed

I don't usually get this down, but my lady talked me into getting my back waxed...although a little painful, I loved the results, and the ladies were very nice.

LOVE IT! I have been going here since I was a sophmore in High School. The first time I got introduced to Brenda was a gift certificate for a manicure from cheerleadering. She is friendly and very kind! She also did my make up for my wedding 2 years ago. They do great waxing!!!! And love the atmosphere

This place is hidden away! I drive by all the time and had no idea this place even existed. I purchased 2 groupons from this place one for a facial and one for a brazilian wax. I was greeted both times and the girl at the front was very nice.
Microdermabrasian Facial: I had the owner Barbara who was very nice. She talked up a storm which I am not sure I really liked but it was partially my fault because I kept right on talking. i am sure if my responses was limited she may have realized I was not in the mood to talk. Overall a great facial I have had better but my face looked and felt great. You can tell she was appreciative of your business and she made you feel welcome. I spotted her at the coffee shop after I left and she came up to me and thanked me again for stopping in which i thought was nice.
Brazlian Wax: I had Jessica and she was amazing! I would give her 5 stars! The whole thing was painless. I want to go back and get a facial when I have a chance she seems to be getting amazing reviews. As a bonus she used to work on Newbury Street so you are getting a Newbury St facial at a fraction of the cost!
For those who use groupon please tip according to the original price and NOT that price paid. I was getting the sense that there are people who are not tipping appropriately because I sensed a bit of tenseness when they found out I had a groupon. Dont get me wrong all very nice and this was not from Jessica it was from another person who happened to be at the front desk. She just did not hide her emotions very well so I could tell right away she at some point may have been "stiffed". Dont give us other "grouponers" a bad name please! Unless the service was horrible they all deserve to be tipped appropriately. (Ok I will get off my soap box now..)

I bought a Groupon to this place, and typically with salon groupons you expect to be treated a little different. This was not the case, I was treated like every other customer.
I came here for a facial and microdermibrasion. The woman I scheduled my facial with was running about 15 minutes late, and I arrived about 20 minutes early because I wasn't sure if I would get lost. Because of that, the owner (I think her name is Barbara) gave me my facial.
The facial itself was normal. (Though the shoulder massage was excellent) I'm giving five stars because Barbara gave me solid advice while I was there. I'm 23 and for about a year I have been breaking out. I never had a single zit in high school and college so this has really upset me now that i am starting my career. I thought I had acne and was using proactive. Barbara corrected me. Turns out I didn't have acne, I had clogged pores because my skin was overly dry (but not dehydrated). She recommended I stop the proactive and instead use a normal face wash and a heavy duty moisturizer at night. I was skeptical, but I listened. I broke out initially, but have had clear skin for two months. I love her. I live over an hour from this salon but I will be going back to get a facial next season.
Though just want to warn you - the outside of the building is a little sketchy. I didn't think it was actually a Salon. Just park and go inside! They have decent prices for everything else - a great savings from the city.

Brazilian Wax by Jessica was AWESOME! i usually go to the Asian places in town but decided to try something new (Memorial Day weekend and leavign for vaca the next day). I was SO impressed at how good she did, waaay better than the experiences I have had before. Jessica was super nice and did a great job. She used 2 kinds of wax (strips and the hard stuff) and I felt MUCH less pain than I usually do. I would highly recommend Jessica, she is amazing, professional, extremely nice and made me feel very comfortable during the wax. The biggest impression I left with was the lack of pain I felt during the procedure...unbelievable difference!

I have been here twice for facials, both times I think the owner (Barbara) welcomed me when I entered. The decor is warm and soothing. I came on a weekday so it was not busy. My facial lasted about an hour. There was nothing different or special, just the usual exfoliating, cleansing, massage and face mask... a regular, relaxing facial done right.

I can't believe I drove by this spa so many times and never hopped in- what a hidden gem!
I had a facial by Barbara, the owner and sweetest lady. I was all riled up since I just came from work (boo) and she was great at calming me down and getting me into spa mode (yeey). She was incredibly meticulous with the facial, getting every single pore, and even commenting that if she didn't feel like she got everything it would bother her later that evening (now that's what I call thorough!).
I think next time I might try a massage since the mini arm, hand and shoulder massage she gave me during my facial was seriously heaven.
She also gave me some great advice on how to take care of my skin after the facial!
